Customer stories Tradenomiliitto TRAL ry
Tradenomiliitto TRAL is a professional association representing BBA graduates and students in Finland. The union offers services, legal support, and advocacy in employment matters. Anyone holding or studying for a BBA, BBA (Master’s), or tradenomi degree can become a member. The association was founded in 1996 and currently has around 30,000 members, approximately half of whom are graduates.
With the launch of the Digijuristi service, member interactions have become smoother and faster. The number of support requests directed to the union’s legal team has decreased significantly, and the feedback from members has been very positive.
The legal advisors at Tradenomiliitto were receiving a high volume of similar inquiries from members every day. While many of the questions were relatively simple, the sheer quantity created a strain on customer service and slowed response times. The goal was to automate this part of the process, allowing members to get answers faster and independently.
The union wanted to provide a digital channel for answering frequently asked questions, freeing up legal advisors’ time and ensuring that members could access important legal information easily—anytime, anywhere.
We built the Digijuristi service in collaboration with Evelien Oy. It is an online legal support platform that provides quick answers to common legal questions related to employment and personal matters.
The system was developed on a fully customized platform that supports multi-step, conditional question-and-answer flows. This allows members to receive accurate responses tailored to their specific situation. Access to the final results is restricted to logged-in users, with authentication integrated directly into the union’s membership registry.
Digijuristi has significantly reduced the workload of Tradenomiliitto’s legal team and freed up time for more personalized legal support. Members can now get the answers they need quickly and in a user-friendly format.
The service has been well received and is now an essential part of the union’s member services—a great example of how digital solutions can improve operational efficiency without compromising the member experience. In fact, it’s made it better.
