We developed the Salmi AR application for Salmi Platform Oy to enable the implementation of augmented reality experiences. The solution includes the necessary tools for creating, managing, and using AR content. The Salmi AR system is quick and easy to utilize in various tourism and event industry use cases.
For the end-user – typically a customer in the tourism or events industry – the most visible part of Salmi AR is the free and easy-to-use Salmi AR mobile app, available for download from app stores for Android and iOS. The user’s Salmi AR app acts as a viewing window into the elements that the service provider wants to present to their audience through augmented reality.
For the content administrator, the key tool in the Salmi AR solution is the management platform, where AR content is created and managed. The content can include photos, videos, audio, or text and even 3D animations or broader digital content can be integrated into Salmi AR.
