Hurja expands its range of Microsoft services as a CSP partner
Hurja Solutions Oy has joined Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) program, Microsoft’s partner program for cloud solution providers. Our distributor is Arrow. We can now sell, manage, and support our customers’ Microsoft cloud services, such as Microsoft 365 licenses and Azure services.
In many organizations, email, Teams, SharePoint, and files are hosted in Microsoft’s cloud, while websites, applications, and licenses may be managed by different partners. When something needs to be changed or a problem needs to be resolved, finding the right point of contact can take unnecessary time.
Through our CSP partnership, we can take greater responsibility for our customers’ digital environments and manage Microsoft services alongside web services, applications, and integrations.
What does a CSP partnership mean?
A Cloud Solution Provider is a Microsoft partner model through which Microsoft cloud services can be purchased and managed with the help of a partner. For example, a customer can purchase Microsoft 365 licenses and Azure services from us instead of buying them directly from Microsoft or through a separate licensing partner.
We operate as an indirect reseller within the CSP program, and our distributor is Arrow. We handle service orders, billing, and support, while Arrow operates behind the scenes as the distributor and provides technical support when needed.
For customers, the key benefit is that Microsoft services, web services, applications, and integrations can all be managed by a single partner.
Microsoft services as part of the same digital environment
Thanks to our CSP partnership, we can manage Microsoft services as part of our customers’ broader digital environments.
For example, we can help with:
- procuring and managing Microsoft 365 licenses
- selecting suitable license types and contract terms
- adding and removing licenses as staffing needs change
- managing Azure services and resources
- setting up Azure environments for applications and integrations
- integrating Microsoft authentication into web services and intranets
- managing users and security settings
- reviewing the costs of existing licenses and Azure resources
For example, an application we build can be deployed to Azure so that we are responsible for both the application and the cloud environment it requires. A web service can also be configured to allow users to sign in with their Microsoft credentials, so they do not need to manage separate usernames and passwords.
Azure also provides a solid foundation for enterprise AI applications where data security, access control, and the controlled handling of company data are key requirements. Examples include RAG bots, AI agents, and other AI solutions that use the company’s own data.
There may also be opportunities to reduce licensing costs
Companies can easily accumulate Microsoft licenses over the years, and their use may not be reviewed regularly. Staff change, needs evolve, and new services are introduced.
We can review your current licenses and services and assess whether they still meet your needs. At the same time, we can identify unused licenses, unnecessarily broad license tiers, or overprovisioned Azure resources.
How does transferring Microsoft services to us work?
If your Microsoft licenses have been purchased directly from Microsoft or through another partner, the transfer to us can be planned around your current contract terms.
We start by reviewing the licenses, services, and contract periods currently in use. We then recommend a suitable setup and identify any potential areas for savings.
Changing partners does not mean rebuilding your email, files, or entire Microsoft environment. The main changes relate to service management, billing, and who you contact about Microsoft services.
Could your Microsoft environment be simpler?
If your Microsoft licenses and Azure services are managed by a different partner than your web services and other business systems, consolidating them with one partner can make them easier to manage and provide better visibility into costs.
We can review your current Microsoft environment and licenses with you and assess whether consolidating services or updating your current licenses would make sense.
Please get in touch, and we’ll review your current Microsoft environment and licenses together.
