Hurja Solutions Oy’s board of directors has been confirmed
Press release 30 November 2023
Hurja Solutions Oy has strengthened its board of directors, with Tom Weckström and Ozzi Järvinen – who previously served as advisors to the board – joining as members of Hurja’s board. Tom Weckström was elected chairman of Hurja’s board. The new board members bring additional strategic expertise and experience to support Hurja’s growth and maintain its competitiveness. Vili Härkönen and Jarno Airaksinen continue as members of the board.
In line with its strategy, Hurja is aiming for profitable growth, and strengthening the work of the Board of Directors is one aspect of implementing this strategy. In recent years, numerous other changes have also been implemented in both the corporate structure and operations, such as establishing a group structure that supports its objectives, divesting its own product line to focus on the services business, and investing in development areas that are important for the future.
Tom Weckström
Tom Weckström, the new chair of the Hurja board, is an entrepreneur’s advisor and change agent. Tom’s mission is to help entrepreneurs and their teams make the world a better place – one business at a time.

Tom also has eight years’ experience of serving on company boards, including five years as chair, as well as around five years’ experience of serving on the boards of associations. Tom holds a Master of Science in Information Technology and has also completed the HHJ qualification.
Ozzi Järvinen
Ozzi Järvinen is an IT entrepreneur and the founder of Iglu. He has extensive experience in growing an international company profitably.
