  • “Working with Hurja was smooth throughout the project, and communication was easy and straightforward. Our questions and requests for changes were handled quickly, and the result was a website that our own team can easily maintain and update. We have also received positive feedback on the new website from our stakeholders. As a small organization, it was also important for us to find an implementation approach that suited our needs and was financially feasible.”

The need for a more flexible CMS and greater control over website content

Yeesi’s previous content management system was rigid and difficult to use. The site structure was complex, and updating content required technical expertise that a small organization did not have readily available.

When every news post, event, or mentor recruitment campaign took more time to publish than necessary, that time was taken away from Yeesi’s core mission: promoting young people’s mental health. Publishing timely content needed to be straightforward without requiring constant technical assistance.

Yeesi wanted to move its website to a modern and flexible WordPress platform that its own staff could update independently. At the same time, the organization’s key digital services and search engine visibility needed to be preserved during the migration.

We migrated the website to WordPress

We reviewed Yeesi’s requirements together in a kickoff meeting, where we agreed on the scope of the content migration and the project schedule. We took responsibility for the yeesi.fi and nuortenmielenterveys.fi domains and built the new website in WordPress while respecting the visual identity of the previous site.

An important part of the project was ensuring that, in addition to the new WordPress website, the existing content, Yeesi’s digital tools, and the site’s search visibility were transferred to the new environment in a controlled manner.

Yeesi’s employees now update the WordPress website themselves without developer assistance. Following the training, three team members have managed the site independently, and routine content updates no longer require developer involvement.

Publishing news, events, and other timely content is now more straightforward. At the same time, the digital services important to young people remained available, and the site’s search visibility was taken into account throughout the migration.

As a result, Yeesi now has a WordPress website that its own team can maintain independently. With routine content changes no longer requiring technical expertise, more time can be spent on the organization’s core mission: promoting mental health.

If even small content updates on your website require technical assistance or an outdated content management system is slowing down everyday work, it may be time to move to a more flexible solution.

Let’s build a WordPress website that your own team can keep up to date.
